Stories of Resistance: commented hike on the Maquis trail on the Plateau de Retord
The Tourist Office offers you a guided tour of the Sentier du maquis.
As part of the compulsory health measures in the fight against Covid-19, the Tourist Office will ask each participant to wear a mask from the age of 12. A physical distance of 1.50m between each participant will be set up and the guide-lecturer will be equipped with a visor.
Visit for 25 participants maximum.
Follow in the footsteps of the Maquis of the Plateau de Retord in the spring of 1943, in the company of Florence, tour guide and Sylvain, mountain guide.
The Maquis de l'Ain, their military organization and the daily life of these men will be told with many anecdotes.
This visit requires a good practice of walking in the middle mountains as well as the wearing of hiking boots. Also bring a hat and a bottle of water.
Visits by reservation at the Tourist Office.
Payment at registration. Visits may be cancelled due to weather conditions and if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
To complete your visit, visit the Museum of Resistance and Deportation of the Ain in Nantua 04.74.75.07.50 (open from Wednesday to Monday, free visit from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm / groups on reservation).
