The Tourist Office offers you a guided tour of the Sentier du maquis (scrubland path). Walk through the Plateau de Retord in the company of a guide and a mountain leader to learn all about the facts of the Resistance in the Bugey!
Visit for a maximum of 25 participants.
Follow in the footsteps of the maquisards of the Plateau de Retord in the spring of 1943, in the company of Florence, guide-lecturer and Sylvain, mountain leader.
The Maquis de l'Ain, their military organisation and the daily life of these men will be told to you with many anecdotes.
This visit requires good practice of walking in the mountains and the wearing of hiking boots. You should also bring a bottle of water.

Payment upon registration is compulsory.
The meeting place will be specified at the time of registration.
Visits may be cancelled due to the weather and if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
To complete your visit, go to the Museum of Resistance and Deportation of the Ain in Nantua 04.74.75.07.50 (open from Wednesday to Monday, free visit from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm / groups by reservation).
