As part of its summer visits, the Bugey Sud Grand Colombier Tourist Office offers you this year as a novelty the discovery of the village of Virieu-le-Grand and the Clairefontaine waterfall.
As part of the compulsory health measures in the fight against Covid-19, the Tourist Office will ask each participant to wear a mask from the age of 12. A physical distance of 1.50m between each participant will be set up and the guide-lecturer will be equipped with a visor.
Visit assured from two persons, 10 participants maximum.
Leaving the village, you will follow the heritage trail to discover the historic part of the village, once the marquisate of Valromey under Honoré d'Urfé, author of the famous novel "L'Astrée". The visit will end at the Clairefontaine waterfall, a Sensitive Natural Area, where participants will be able to take a break around a shared picnic if they wish at the end of the visit.
This visit requires a habit of walking on paths as well as the wearing of hiking boots. Also bring a hat and a bottle of water.
