Maison Angelot

The Maison Angelot is a family run vineyard in the small village of Marignieu north of Belley in the heart of rural Bugey. The vineyard is open 7 days a week and offers an extensive range of AOC Bugey wines, fines and marcs.

The Angelot family has been producing wine in Marignieu since the early 1900’s, today Philippe and Eric Angelot cultivate 29 hectares of vines to produce red, white, rosé and sparkling wines as well as Fine and Marc du Bugey. There 3 different white wines available made from both Chardonnay and Roussette grapes. The red wines are produced using Pinot-Noir, Gamay and Mondeuse cépages, both Pinot-Noir and Gamay are used in the production of Maison-Angelot’s rosé. There also 3 varities of sparkling wine produced at the vineyard a brut, an extra brut made exclusively from Chardonnay and a rosé made from Gamay and Mondeuse. There is also a Fine du Bugey and a Marc du Bugey distilled on the premises. The Maison-Angelot is open for sales and dégustations 7 days a week all year round (except during Christmas and on January the 1st & August the 15th) from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 19:00. Additionally the vineyard has 3 spaces available for camping cars.
