Sunday 17th July will see the 15th stage of the Tour de France 2016, finishing in Culoz after two ascents of the Col du Grand Colombier, with a total of 159km.
A stage that is 100% in the department of Ain, starting in BourgenBresse.
The ascent of the Grand Colombier is done in hairpin bends on a road unique in Europe, with an increase in height of 10.5% over 1.5km.

Practical informationThe arrival of the 15th stage will be in the center of Culoz, near the firm CIAT at about 5 pm.
Be careful, the roads near Culoz will be closed from Saturday evening.
Before the Tour: big festive weekend to Culoz!
Foire aux vins et pause gourmande en Bugey: on July 15th and 16th.
Stands of the wine growers of the Bugey, craftmen, shows (Mickaël Jones) and many other surprises like the huge omelet of 12 000 eggs! 2 shuttles to get back the already present spectators of the Tour de France at the top of Grand Colombier and bring them on the site of to the Wine fair. (Sense of shuttles: village-Anglefort).
